Since 2015, Matt Fiddes West Sussex has been delivering engaging and educational school workshops designed to build confidence, promote respect and help pupils understand how to recognise, prevent and respond to bullying.
Schools including Steyning Grammar School, Sompting Village Primary School, William Penn School in Coolham and Sheddingdean Community Primary School have already benefited from these popular sessions.
Our workshops combine education, physical activity and positive personal-development messages in a fun, age-appropriate and memorable way. Pupils are encouraged to develop greater self-belief, resilience, discipline and respect for others while learning practical strategies for dealing with bullying and making positive choices.
Workshop Options
Schools can choose from a range of sessions tailored to their pupils and timetable:
- Martial arts-based PE lessons
- Experience Week workshops
- Interactive anti-bullying lessons
- PowerPoint-based classroom workshops and presentations
Each session can be adapted to suit different age groups, class sizes and school requirements. Workshops can focus on topics including confidence, kindness, teamwork, respect, positive behaviour, personal safety and the importance of speaking to a trusted adult when bullying occurs.

Our educational school visits are fully funded and completely free for schools throughout West Sussex. There is no charge to the school or participating families.
